Contracting Interim Professionals and freelancers risk-free
Projob takes over the organisation of regular repeat-freelancers in companies in terms of agreements, risk-taking and invoicing. This applies both to those freelancers that we recruit for you and those who you recruit yourself or are already working for you. We aim to eliminate any reservations you may have regarding risks incurred by the new DBA act.
Following the introduction of the DBA Act (Deregulation Assessment of Employment Relations) Projob has opted to work with the so-called Intermediary Model Agreement, according to the guidelines of the tax authorities. In this way we eliminate the risk of retroactive tax fines for those companies who wish to work with contractors/freelancers or interim professionals.
The process : recruiting, selecting and invoicing freelancers :
- Projob recruits specialists in the fields of: Finance, HR, marketing & communication, administrative support (PAs, management assistant, legal and secretarial roles), coaching, and facilities roles.
- We will introduce our shortlist of professionals to
you and arrange the interviews correspondingly. You select your preferred
candidate.
- After you have selected your preferred candidate, we will draw up a model intervention agreement in accordance with the guidelines issued by the tax authorities naming Projob as the employer and the freelancer as the supplier. The company for which the freelancer will work is not referred to in this agreement.
- You will receive an assignment agreement from us based on the model intervention agreement which exempts you from potential retroactive tax fines on suspicion of being liable for income tax under presumption of employment, an employer-employee relationship or pseudo-freelancing. The agreement will state the services that Projob will provide to you as an intermediary and for the administrative processing agreements and monthly invoicing.
- The freelancer invoices their hours worked for you to Projob on a monthly basis following those hours being signed-off by you. Projob will pay the invoice to the freelancer as the supplier.
- You will receive an invoice from Projob for the hire of
one of our freelancers with the hourly rate that has been agreed.
How does it work if you have recruited and selected a freelancer yourself (or have one already working for you) and you no longer want to be in the position of contractor/risk-taker?
- We will draw up a model intervention agreement in accordance with the guidelines issued by the tax authorities whereby Projob is the employer and the freelancer is the supplier.
- The agreement will state the services that Projob has provided to you by assuming the role as risk-taker and for the administrative processing of agreements and monthly invoicing.
- The freelancer invoices their hours worked to Projob on a monthly basis following those hours being signed-off by you. Projob will pay the invoice to the freelancer as the supplier.
- You will receive an invoice from Projob with the hours worked by the freelancer and the fee for the administrative management of the agreements.
The differences:
- The type of service.
- The fee: The average fee for placement is between €10.00 and €15.00 per hour depending on the duration of the assignment, number of hours to be worked per week and the hourly rate. In the case of assuming the role as employer and risk-bearer for your own freelancers, the average fee ranges from €5.00 to €7.50 per hour, depending on the duration of the assignment, number of hours to be worked per week and risk factors. All rates are exclusive of 21% VAT.
